How To Be Successful Learn From Arnold? A Secret Guide To Success

The first guideline of success is to have a clear picture of what you want to achieve.

If you don't have a vision of where you want to go and a goal for where you want to go, you'll float around aimlessly.

I mean, as you know, Arnold was born in 1947 in Austria, shortly after WWII ended.

He was really fortunate that he stumbled beneath his vision, because he didn't like for Austria as a child and couldn't wait to go.

Even though his parents needed him to stay and live a decent life, he couldn't see himself as a farmer, factory worker, or anything else.

That was their perspective, not his.

His perspective was completely different; he felt as if he had been born for something exceptional, something one-of-a-kind, and something significant.

Then one day, when he was 11 years old, he went to school and they presented a documentary about America.

They showed gigantic skyscrapers, high rises, massive bridges, six lane motorways, and all of this stuff in this emissive, and that's where he want to be.

He don't want to be in this area because of the small farmhouses and structures.

One day after school, he strolled by a business in Graz and thought to himself, "I want to be in America."

So he went inside and took a look around till he came across a magazine.

A bodybuilding magazine had Reg Park on the cover.

At the time, Reg Park was a three-time Mr Universe winner.

He saw him as Hercules on the big screen.

This is the blueprint for his life," he thought as he read it. "This is precisely what he intends."

Like Reg Park, he want to be a bodybuilding champion.

He aspires to be as wealthy and successful as Reg Park, and to make films like Reg Park.

He wishes to acquire additional millions of dollars and become well-known.

Do you have any idea how fantastic it felt?
He suppose the majority of people don't know where they're going since he knew where he was heading.

He knew exactly where he was headed: He was going to follow in his footsteps and become a bodybuilding champion.

"How would you rather do it?" was the single most important question.

He was relieved because everything becomes simple when you have a purpose and a vision.

So when people ask him if they saw him working out in the gym at the gym.

He always say:

"When you've been working out for five to seven hours a day, how do you keep a bright smile on your face?

He told people all of the time that it meant a lot to him.

"I'm seriously concerned on succeeding, and Mr Universe is there next to me."

So each exercise brings him closer to completing that connection and making this core that vision come true.

Every exercise that he complete, every repetition that he perform, and every weight that he lift will bring him one step closer to making the goal a realistic.

So he was looking forward to doing another 500-pound squat.

He was looking forward to doing another 500-pound bench press.

He couldn't wait to complete another 2 000 sit-up reps.

With the age of 20, he couldn't wait for the next exercise.

He went to London because he didn't want to miss the universe contest as the world's youngest Mr Universe, and he had a goal.

So, here's something I'd want to share with you.

It's thrilling to imagine and pursue your goal, but you must have a purpose for it.

Whatever you do in life, you must have a purpose.

In the United States, 74% of individuals dislike their employment.

Therefore, when you come to Europe, you'll notice that the majority of people really do not like what they're doing because they're not doing it because they don't have a goal.

They merely drifted aimlessly around and then all of a sudden they followed the score.

If a job opportunity presents itself, they take it because they have no choice but to work; nonetheless, working is a responsibility, work, and it is not pleasurable.

If only a small portion of the population is taken into account.

Really admire what they're accomplishing in life, which is amazing when you think about it.

So he felt extremely fortunate that he understood "what he was doing was similar to a medical student who studies" and understands he wants to be only a doctor.

You realize where you should go, and the same is true in politics.

In politics, he recall having a crystal clear vision of himself as the state's leader.

Because he was not born in America, he could only travel so far.

So he couldn't run for president, so he had to settle for becoming governor of the fifth-largest state.

He should remark that being the world's largest state and having the world's fifth largest economy was the ideal title for him.

Even if someone said to him, "Why don't you run for something smaller?"

He felt he'd never make it in politics.

He campaigned for governor, and two months later, he was re-elected governor of California because he had a clear vision.

"He's going to do something with California."

So having a vision is the first rule.

The second guideline is to dismiss critics.

Every time he did something, the first thing people said was that it was impossible, that it couldn't be done, or that it couldn't be done at all.

Of course, he demonstrated to them that it couldn't be done.

So everytime someone told him it couldn't be done, he believed them.

When they answered no, he heard it could be done.

He is a person who believes in what Nelson Mandela quoted.

"Everything seems to be unachievable until someone else does it," He'll be the first one to tell himself.

He's going to do it, and he's gonna show everyone.

Maybe it's never been done before, and that's great with him, but he's going to do it anyhow, and he's not going to listen to the doubters.

It's really about the effort you put in, He said. He must be bodybuilding because he worked out for five to six hours every day.

He's going to do the same thing for acting now, and he went to college to study English, of course.

He took accent removal acting classes and learned about all of this.

He laboured all day in the works and completed them in a short amount of time.

In New York, He made a film called "Hercules," which, predictably, bombed, but that didn't deter him.

He saw the same image as before, and suddenly it hit him:

He could do the streets of San Francisco.

He stayed hungry and kept pumping, and then the villain appeared out of nowhere.

Dino de Laurentiis of Universal Studios requested him to star in Conan the Barbarian, and after he finished the film, the director at the press conference stated to the press that the director was John Millius.

They would have had to build one if they hadn't had Arnold.

Consider the body they said could never be sold since the time had been off a few years.

When Conan the Barbarian was released in the summer of 1982, it was the number one box office hit.

Consider this: the director claims that if they hadn't had his body, they would have had to manufacture one.

So his body has become an asset rather than a liability, and the same thing happened with Terminator when they finished filming it.

Jim Cameron gave a news conference.

"The movie wouldn't have worked" if Arnold didn't have that accent and spoke like a machine.

Consider that the body and accent that they targeted were an asset.

However he didn't pay attention to those losers; in fact, he didn't pay attention to them at all.

It's a reality of life that you can't pay attention to the critics.

As a result, this is a critical lesson for all of you.

So, when someone says no, this is a foolish notion, you don't have to say anything but your thoughts to tell this of you, your soul.

I am grateful for your reading time.
